Lillian F. (McMahon) Kinney-Connelly, 102, of Manchester, died March 25, 2015 at Birch Hill Terrace after a long period of declining health.
She was born in Providence, RI on July 27, 1912 to Michael and Katherine (Kemmett) McMahon. She grew up in Providence and graduated from St. Xavier Academy and the University of Rhode Island. She has lived in Manchester since 1941.
Lillian was a member and officer of The Manchester College Womens Club and a board member of the Manchester Visiting Nurse Association. She was an avid reader, enjoyed the theater and was a world traveler.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Gilbert H. Kinney in 1984 and by her second husband, Arthur J. Connelly in 2002.
The family includes two children, Linda Prokuski and her husband, Bron, of Hertford, NC and Jack Kinney and his wife, Cynthia, of Moultonborough; five grandchildren, John Prokuski, Cara Ferguson, Matthew Kinney, Meghan Carpenter and Moira Stein; four great grandchildren, William Carpenter, Sara Carpenter, Anna Stein and Cooper Stein.
SERVICES: Private interment will be at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum in Manchester with a memorial service to take place at a later date.
