Obituary

WAYLAND: Michael C. Krystyniak, 93, died peacefully and comfortably at his Wayland residence on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 following a lengthy period of declining health.
He was born in Lowell on April 19, 1921 the son of the late Stanley Krystyniak and Anna (Dudek) Krystyniak.
Michael was the devoted and loving father of Donna M. Kutasz of Acton and the beloved grandfather of Stephen M. Kutasz of Acton. He was the husband of the late Lucille V. (Savreau) Krystyniak who died in 1986 and the late Emma (Bayer) Kerrivan who died in 2011.
Michael spent his formative years in Lowell and has resided in Wayland for over 63 years. He graduated from Lowell High School and served his country proudly and with honor as a Technical Sargeant in the South Pacific during World War II with the United States Army. He retired as a postal worker for the United States Postal Service at the Wayland Post Office. For over 20 years he was a brewer at Carlings Brewery on the shore of Lake Cochituate in Natick. He loved square dancing and was a member of the Square Riggers and a member of the Golden Tones of Wayland. He loved to travel to Florida and especially enjoyed many years at his home on Dudley Pond. He was a loving father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
Visitations will be held on Friday, March 27, 2015 from 10:30 until 11:30 followed by his funeral service at 11:30 at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road (Off Rte 30), Wayland.
Interment will follow in the Krystyniak family lot in Lakeview Cemetery in Wayland.
His family kindly suggests in lieu of flowers that memorial donations in Michael’s memory be sent to the Zeno Mountain Farm, 950 Zeno Road, Lincoln, VT 05443 to honor his grandson Stephen and would be greatly appreciated.
