Obituary

Maureen T. (Considine) Stillman, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at her home in Charlestown following a courageous battle with cancer. She was 73 years old.

Maureen was born in Boston on July 3, 1941, a daughter of the late James P. Considine and Marion (Powers) Considine. She grew up in Charlestown where she was educated in the Boston Public School system and graduated from Charlestown High School. Maureen worked for over 30 years for the Boston Public School system and the last 20 years at Charlestown High School as a Para Professional with the special needs students. She enjoyed playing bingo and traveling to Foxwoods. Her most enjoyment in life were the trips to Hampton Beach during the summer for the last 38 years and spending quality time with her 4 grandchildren. She is a member of The Daughters of Isabella # 1 and the Old Charlestown Schoolgirls Association.

Maureen is the beloved wife of the late Francis C. "Frank" Stillman. She is the devoted mother of Karen Carey and her husband Phil of Charlestown, Patty Ann Woods and her husband Kevin of Charlestown, Brian Stillman and his wife Lynda of Charlestown and the late Francis P. "Frankie" Stillman. She is the loving Nana to Kevin Woods, Brian Woods, Kiley Stillman and Ashlyn Stillman. She is the beloved sister of the late Patrick J. Considine and James P. Considine. She is also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Maureen's Funeral on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 9 A.M. from The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Francis De Sales Church, 313 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown at 10 A.M. Her burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, March 27, 2015 from 3 to 7 P.M. in the funeral home.
