Louise L. (Almeida) Enos, 73, of New Bedford died Monday January 24, 2005 unexpectedly at home. She was the wife of the late Armond M. "Edmond" Enos, Sr.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Laura C. (Pina) Araujo and John M. Almeida, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.
She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Assumption Church.
Mrs. Enos was formerly employed as a teacher's aide with the New Bedford School Department for many years retiring from the Pulaski School.
She enjoyed playing Bingo, going to Foxwoods, playing cards with her family, singing, dancing and music.
Survivors include two sons, Dr. Armond M. Enos, Jr., and his wife Deborah, of Framingham, and Glenn J. Enos, Sr., and his wife Leanne, of New Bedford; a brother, Edward Almeida of New Bedford; two sisters, Florence Mello of New Bedford and Anna Correia of Carver; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Antone Almeida, John Almeida, and Beverly Vasconcellos.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday January 28, 2005 at 9:30 AM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home For Funerals, 495 Park St. New Bedford. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Thursday January 27, 2005 from 5-8 PM.
