Genevieve G. (Dusak) Anderson 91, of 6 Wachusett St. died Monday, Jan. 24, in Worcester Medical Center.
Her husband George A. Anderson died in 1992. She leaves two sons, G. Clifford and his wife Mary Ellen Anderson of Worcester and David B. Anderson of Boston; a daughter, Barbara M. and her husband, Richard E. Volker of Ludlow; a sister, Florence B. Dusak of Worcester; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Joseph and Louise (Gut) Dusak and was a lifelong Worcester resident.
Mrs. Anderson was a saleswoman for several Worcester Clothing Apparel Stores. She was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Church and volunteered for the Mohegan Boy Scouts Council.
The Funeral will held Monday, Jan. 31, with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 5 Spaulding St. Burial will be private in St. John’s Cemetery. A calling hour will be held Monday, Jan. 31, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 5 Spaulding St., Worcester, 01603.
