Josephine M. Fucarile, of Burlington formerly of Woburn passed away peacefully, March 24, 2015, at the Sunrise of Burlington Assisted Living where she has been a resident for the past seven years. She was 91 years of age. Born in Woburn she was the beloved daughter of the late Mariano and Mary (Aloi) Fucarile.
Josephine was raised and educated in Woburn and was a graduate of Woburn High School. Prior to her retirement she worked for over thirty years as an administrative assistant at the Federal Reserve Bank in Boston. For many years she was a faithful and active parishioner of St. Charles Church. She enjoyed spending time with family, listening to music, reading, arts and crafts, playing checkers and attending bingo and helping others in need. She will fondly be remembered for her great sense of humor and her beautiful smile.
Josephine was the cherished sister of Joseph Fucarile of New Hampshire and his late wife Eleanor, Richard Fucarile and his wife Eleanor of Woburn, the late Thomas Fucarile and his surviving wife Doris of Woburn, the late Rose Baiarri and her husband Anthony. She was the special aunt of Linda Baiarri and the late Donald Baiarri and is further survived by many more loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., WOBURN, Friday, March 27th, at 11 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Charles Borromeo Church, 280 Main St., Woburn, at 11:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family prior to the mass from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. Services will conclude with burial at Calvary Cemetery, Woburn.
