Jean L. (Friot) Wells, 61, of Manchester, died March 23, 2015, at her residence after a brief illness.
She was born in Melrose, MA on December 5, 1953, the daughter of Earl and Mary (O’Brien) Friot. Jean was a graduate of Woburn High School and spent the last ten years of her life in Manchester.
She enjoyed life to the fullest and knew how to have a good time. Everyone called her “Mama Jean” and she would open her doors and herself up to everyone. She was very kind and very giving but above all, she will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
The family includes two daughters, Gloria Guarracino and husband Joe of Derry, and Lauri Hinchcliffe of Manchester; one stepson, John Folger and wife Laurie of Vermont; three grandchildren, Makayla and Joseph Guarracino of Derry, and Dominik Maggio of Manchester; two sisters, Joan Kitz and husband Victor of Lexington, MA, and Lisa Trottier and husband Bob of Chester; one brother, Steven Friot and wife Kathy of Brockton, MA; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased both of her parents, her husband David Wells, and her grandson Nathan Guarracino.
There were no calling hours or services. Memorial donations may be made in Jean’s name to the charity of one’s choice.
