DOROTHY L. (GOODWIN) ANASTOS , age 85, of Hingham, died on Monday, Jan. 24th at the Harbor House Nursing Center in Hingham after a long illness. Mrs. Anastos was born in Boston and was a lifelong resident of Hingham, graduating from Hingham High School. For many years, she was the executive secretary for the Hingham Community Center.
She was the wife of the late Christus G. Anastos and mother of Betty Ann Galinaro of Hingham, Theodore W. Anastos of Hull and Richard G. Anastos of Weymouth. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
The funeral services and interment are to be private. Visiting hours and flowers omitted by request.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the charity of choice.
