Joseph K. Kilday passed away, peacefully, on April 7, 2002 at Lahey Clinic in Burlington.
He was born on August 23, 1921 in Boston, a son of the late Patrick and Delia M. (Keehan) Kilday.
He was a resident of Medford for over 41 years formerly of Roslindale and Roxbury. A graduate of high school in Jamaica Plain, he went on to college at Bunker Hill Community College.
He was an accountant for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for over 20 years.
Joseph married his beloved wife, Dorothy Rita (Gearin) at St. Joseph Church in Medford on August 29, 1961. Besides his wife, Dorothy, Joseph leaves one son, Kevin J. and his wife Cynthia A. Kilday of Wilmington. He is the loving grandfather of Kathleen Connor and Jack Kilday, both of Wilmington. Devoted brother of Mary Loftus of Roslindale, Margaret Reardon of Framingham, Esther Gunther of Westwood, Florence Sabourin of Roslindale, Rita O’Sullivan of Watertown, and John Kilday of Falmouth.

Funeral from the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford, Wednesday at 10:00 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph’s Church, 118 High Street, Medford, MA 02155, at 11 o’clock. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday from 4-8 PM. Interment, Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
