Millbury- Veronica M. (Butrym) Carter, 86, of 28 Stone Rd., died Thursday, Jan. 20, in Millbury Health Care Center.
She leaves a daughter, Carolyn M. Dik of Delray Beach, FL; three granddaughters, Jennifer L. Adams of Millbury, with whom she lived, Amy E. Bonacorssi of Lawrence, and Cristie L. Adams of Millbury; two great grandchildren, Edward Bonacorssi III of Lawrence and Cassidy May Jacobs of Millbury; three brothers, Bernard, John, and William Butrym. She was preeceased by a brother, Clifford Butrym, and two sisters, Rose Butrym and Wanda Butrym. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Ludwig and Veronica (Potchepowich) Butrym. She graduated from St. Mary’s Grammar School and from Commerce High School in 1926, where she majored in business.
She was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish, Worcester.
The funeral will be held Monday, Jan. 24, from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., Worcester, with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St., Worcester. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. A visiting hour will be from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Monday, Jan. 24, in the funeral home.
