Marjorie G. (Anderson) Quist, 75, of 120 Worcester Street, West Boylston died Sunday, January 16, 2005, in Oakdale Nursing Home. Her husband of 39 years, George F. Quist, died in 1991.
She leaves a son with whom she lived, Kenneth Quist of West Boylston; 2 granddaughters, Kristina Quist of Worcester and Kaylee Quist of West Boylston; and 2 other sons--Bruce P. Quist of Saco, Maine and George A. Quist of Westboro.
Marjorie was born in Worcester, daughter of Oscar and Gladys (Damstrom) Anderson. She was a graduate of Commerce High School and Becker Jr. College. Gladys worked for many years at Astra Pharmaceutical Co. and Data General Corp. She was a member of Salem Covenant Church. Marjorie had a love for Maine and the ocean where she spent many summers during her lifetime.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, January 20th at 11:00 a.m. in Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester. Burial will be at a later date in Mount Vernon Cemetery, West Boylston. Calling hours will be Wednesday, 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Patients Activity Fund of Oakdale Nursing Home, 76 N. Main Street, West Boylston 01583.
