Ellen M. (McAdam) Tarnowski, age 95, passed away on March 15, 2015 at the Loomis House in Holyoke. She was born on Jan. 16, 1920 in Rochester, NH and was the daughter of the late Peter and Oleida (Boulanger) McAdam. Ellen was a communicant of Holy Name Parish. She worked in dietary services at the Holyoke Hospital for many years before retiring in 1986. She was predeceased by her husband William Tarnowski who passed away in 1998. She leaves two sons, William Tarnowski and his partner Brian Sheehy of South Hadley and Dr. Kenneth Tarnowski of Bonita Springs, FL. She also leaves her daughter Diane Robillard and her husband Paul of Springfield plus close family friend Patrice Pare and many special friends at the McKinley House in Chicopee. The family would like to offer their sincere thanks and gratitude to the Administration and staff of the Loomis House and Hospice Life Care for their wonderful care and support. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Loomis House or Hospice Life Care of Holyoke. Services will be at the convenience of the family at a later date. The Grise Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
