Augusta, GA – Dr. Henry M. Althisar, 92, beloved husband of the late Anne H. Althisar entered into rest on Monday, March 2, 2015.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, March 21, 2015 in the churchyard of the Church of the Good Shepherd with Rev. Lynn B. Prather officiating.
Dr. Althisar, the son of the late Charles F. and Dannie M. Althisar was born in Talbotton, GA, a World War II vet, an alumnus of the Medical College of Georgia, had a twelve year medical practice in Thomson, and Chief of Staff at the Augusta VA Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Anne H. Althisar.
Dr. Althisar is survived by a daughter, Charlotte A. and son-in-law, Roger E. Templeton of Martinez, GA; a son, Henry M. Althisar, Jr. of Durham, NC; a grandson, Roger E. and granddaughter-in-law, Becky B. Templeton, Jr. of Fargo, ND; and three granddaughters, Amelia, Olivia, and Eliza Althisar of Durham, NC.
