Alvarado-Alegria, Aura M. passed away peacefully on March 12, 2015 at the age of 80. Born in Colombia, she migrated to Boston in 1961, where she worked, raised her family and became a pillar of her community. Loving mother of Diego, Sandra and Karen. She is survived by her children; her sister Aura Imelda Alvarado-Orbes; her grandchildren Aura Veronica, Diego Alberto, Alejandro, Ana Victoria, Alexandra, R.J., Nicolas, Wesley, and Lucas; and her great grandchildren Miguel and Nina.
Funeral from the P.E. Murray-F.J. Higgins, George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home 2000 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY Wednesday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Assumption, Brookline at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited.
