Obituary

Health Care in Beverly, following a long illness.

Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Blanche B. (Brault) Leroux. Lillian devoted her time to raising her family and working for many years as a waitress for the former Stromberg’s Restaurant. In later years she worked in electronics for Shetland Industries of Salem and Avnet of Peabody.

Lillian was a hard working woman, who for enjoyment enjoyed long walks and doing jigsaw puzzles. She was a member of the former St, Joseph Parish of Salem.

She is survived by 3 three sons, Emmanuel C. Hios and wife Janet , Michael C. Hios and wife Linda all of Beverly, Ronald P. Hios and wife Edith of Middleton, NH, a daughter Mary B. Erwin and husband Ronald of Somersworth, NH. She also leaves 10 grandchildren, Kevin, Nicole & Michael, II Hios, Tara Picardy, Deborah Rodrigues, Jamie Hios, Vincent Erwin, Nathaniel Hios, Mary Darden and Matthew Hios, as well as 8 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Rose Dion & Irene Houle, and two brothers, Raymond & Robert Leroux. She was the former wife of the late Charles E. Hios.

Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St. [Route 114 / 1-A] Salem from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. to be followed by her funeral mass in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 260 North St., on the Salem / Peabody line. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem.
