Margaret G. Davis, 90, of Anderson died March 11, 2015 at Grace Village Healthcare in Winona Lake.
She was born April 6, 1924 in Macy, Indiana to Rev. John B. and June (Johnson) Sparling.
She graduated from Miami Business College in Dayton, OH and worked as a secretary in Intelligence at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, OH, then 23 years at Guide Lamp in Anderson for before retiring in 1979. She married Paul W. Davis on April 17, 1945, and he preceded her in death on August 31, 2011. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Middletown, IN where she played piano and served as church organist. She enjoyed home decorating, water skiing, golfing and all types of handcrafts.
Survivors include her daughter, Melinda (Larry) Welsh of Cromwell and son, Bruce A. (Becky) Davis of Anderson; step grandson, Jason (Angie) Grant of Pendleton; two great grandchildren, Madison and Molly Grant; brother, Winston Sparling of Auburn; sister, Carolyn Baldwin of Marion; and several in-laws, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her two brothers, Harold Sparling and Charles Sparling.
Services will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Glenn Davis officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the funeral service.
Entombment will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery Mausoleum in Muncie, Indiana.
