Mrs. Annie Lee Robbins
Augusta, GA—85, wife of the late Charles Pride Robbins, entered into rest on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at NHC HealthCare.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 13, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Platt’s Crawford Avenue Chapel with the Reverend J. Kevin Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
A native of Hamilton, AL, Mrs. Robbins was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, time with her grandchildren being one of her greatest joys. She was a charter member of Crestview Baptist Church where she served on the Homecoming Committee. She also enjoyed working in the field of nursing, with time spent at Gracewood State Hospital being the highlight of her career.
Survivors include her two sons, Roger Robbins (Gina) of Aiken, SC, Terry Robbins of Augusta, GA; one daughter Myra Josey (David) of Augusta, GA; one brother, Hilton Gann of Atlanta, GA; one sister, Opal Giles of Atlanta, GA; four grandchildren, Mark Robbins of North Augusta, SC, Lauren Galavotti (Adam) of Savannah, GA, Travis Day, and Misty Day, both of Aiken, SC; three great grandchildren, Joshua, Jessica, and Dale; and one great great grandchild, Allie.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
