Thelma Louise (Pensa) Veronelli, 87, of Somerville, died Wednesday, March 11. Beloved wife of the late Aldo J. Veronelli. Devoted mother of Robert Veronelli and his partner Janet Bowers of Gill, Linda Belkner and her husband Richard of Concord, William Veronelli and his wife Margaret of Reading, Cindy Regan and her husband John of Littleton, Nancy Dunn and her husband Robert of Dedham, Marianne Bolt and her husband Daniel of Medford. Loving grandmother of Laura Belkner of New York City, Samantha and Nathaniel Bolt, both of Medford, David Veronelli of Reading, and Alexander Dunn of Dedham. She was a loving sister to Norma Costa of Arlington. She was predeceased by her parents Louis and Catherine (Carbone) Pensa, and siblings Edmund and Louis Pensa, Hilda Sullivan, and Doris Nicosia. Also survived many loving nieces and nephews.
Thelma's greatest joy in life came from her husband and her children and grandchildren; she loved her many dogs as well. She was a loyal and dedicated friend and touched the hearts of many.
Funeral from Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Saturday, March 14 at 10:30AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Catherine Of Genoa Church, 179 Summer St., Somerville, at 11:30AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4 through 8PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
