Mrs. Rita M. (Phaneuf) Kingsley, of Taunton, died Tuesday, March 10 in Morton Hospital following a period of failing health. She was the beloved wife of the late Roger C. Kingsley, Jr. She was born 91 years ago in Woonsocket, R.I., the daughter of the late Joseph and Malvina (Paquin) Phaneuf. Rita was educated in Woonsocket and had been a Taunton resident for many years. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed as a stamper for the former New Process Twist Drill Company in Taunton for many years. She enjoyed animals, cooking and visiting Foxwoods. She was a communicant of the former St. Joseph’s Church in Taunton.
She leaves several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held at The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street on Friday, March 13 at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow in St. Francis Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. A Visiting Hour will be held prior to the funeral, Friday, from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M.
