Kenneth W. Verlaque Sr., 61, died Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at the Hospice Care of Rhode Island Inpatient Center surrounded by his family.
Born in England, he was a son of the late Louis G. Verlaque and Mary (Cedor) Morrissey. He grew up and lived in Smithfield for most of his life.
Mr. Verlaque owned and operated Smithfield Imports for 30 years before retiring.
He is survived by his children, Melanie M. Verlaque and Kenneth W. Verlaque, Jr. both of Smithfield, his granddaughter, Micaela Caparco and a brother, Louis Verlaque, Jr. of Ohio. He was the brother of the late Monica Davis and Peter and Martina Verlaque.
Visitation Friday 4-7pm in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Funeral and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to Home and Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904
