Obituary

Joel Kincaid, age 50, of Wilmington passed away March 9th, at the Massachusetts General Hospital, following a five year courageous battle with ALS. Born in Malden, Joel was the beloved son of Virginia M. (Murphy) Kincaid of Wilmington and the late William D. Kincaid Sr.

Joel was a lifelong resident of Wilmington. He attended Wilmington Schools and was a graduate of Wilmington High School. He worked for many years as an accounts payable manager with the Datawatch Corporation of Chelmsford. He enjoyed listening to music, working on the computer, traveling, super heroes and comic books.

In addition to his beloved mother, Joel is survived by his devoted siblings; Carol A. Beauchamp of Billerica, William D. Kincaid Jr. of Wilmington, and Jodi Boeske and her husband Steven of Chester, NH. He cherished his role as "Uncle Joe" to his many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephew. He is further survived by many loving friends who supported him throughout his ALS battle.

A funeral service will be conducted in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 374 Main St., Wilmington, Friday, March 13th, at 7 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
