Robert A. Johnson,90, of 75 Whittemore Street, died Monday Jan. 17 in Clark Manor Nursing Home.
His wife, whom he married Nov. 26, 1949, Helen F. (Nelson) Johnson died in 1988. He leaves a son Robert B. Johnson of Brookfield, a daughter Christine L. Suprenant of Leicester, four grandsons John, Carl, Keith and Kenny. He is predeceased by three brothers John, Ted and Phil Johnson.
Mr. Johnson was born August 29, 1914 in Boylston, son of John L. and Mary (Olson) Johnson. He owned and operated Johnson Brothers Dairy Farm in Leicester with his brother John. He was a member of the Leicester Federated Church. He enjoyed gardening, greenhouse work and running his saw mill.
Funeral services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. The family wishes to give their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Clark Manor Nursing Home for the excellent care given to their father. Morrison-Morin Funeral Home, 1131 Main St. is directing arrangements.
