Dorothy Allred Peacock died Monday, January 17, 2005 in Yalobusha General Hospital in Water Valley, MS.
Visitation will be Wednesday evening, January 19, 2005 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Seven Oaks Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Thursday, January 20, 2005 at 2:00 PM at Seven Oaks Funeral Home.
Mrs. Peacock was a certified Phlebotomist serving in the Bapist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, Mississippi. Although Mrs. Peacock worked professionally, she considered her greatest vocation to be a homemaker. She had been a member of The Church of God in Southaven, Mississippi and currently was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Water Valley, Mississippi.
Mrs. Peacock is survived by: three sons, Kenneth Bryan Peacock of Pearl, MS, James A. Peacock of Memphis, TN, and Patrick J. Peacock of Water Valley, MS; two sisters Mary Elizabeth Allred McCain and Janice Allred Shuffield, both of Water Valley, MS; two brothers, Bobbie Clyde Allred of Nesbitt, MS and Sam Allred of Batesville, MS and seven grandchildren. Mrs peacock was preceeded in death by: her husband, James Elmo "Bodie" Peacock on the 28th day of January of 2002; her parents, Clyde A. and Mary Evelyn (Peeples) Allred; and three brothers, James Thomas "Tommie" Allred, Billy Lee Allred, and Tony Randall Allred.
