Joan J. ( Martino) Nastri, of Reading, formerly of Medford, died unexpectedly Monday at home. She was 73.
Born in Somerville and raised in Medford, she was the daughter of the late Victor and the late Rose (Vitello) Martino. Mrs. Nastri was clerk at Dudley Fuel, before her retirement. For 20 years she served as a Trustee at Oak Grove Cemetery. She was a member of the Friends of Chevalier Auditorium and the Thursday Fortnighly Club.
She is survived by her husband Ralph Nastri. She leaves two sons, Richard Nastri and his wife Kathy of Cape Cod, Andrew Nastri and his wife Joanne of Reading, and the late Naomi Nastri.
She was the loving grandmother of Michael, Matthew, Alyssa, Andrea and Nicholas. She leaves her dear sister Nancy Grimbly of Malden and many Nieces and nephews.
Funeral procession will be Friday at 9 AM from the Dello Russo Funeral Home,306 Main St., Medford, followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Clement Church at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Friends and family may visit Thursday from 4 - 8.
