Arthur A. Gambale passed away peacefully at the Massachusetts General Hospital on Thursday night. He was 77. A life-long resident of the North End, he was the son of the late Arthur A. and Mary (Manfra) Gambale.
Arthur worked as a chef for the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office. Previously he owned and operated his own business, the Metro Deli on Cambridge St. in Boston. A member of the Knights of Columbus, Arthur was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather.
The beloved husband of Anna S. (Pallotta) “Dolly” Gambale, he was a devoted father to Anthony Gambale of Revere, Richard Gambale and his wife Michele of Medford. He leaves his loving grandson, Robert Gambale. He was a dear brother to Virginia and Carol Ann Gambale both of Revere.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Sunday, March 8th from 4 to 8 PM and again on Monday morning at 10 followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Leonard Church, Hanover St., Boston, at 11 AM.
