Marion A. (Petrilli) (Arsenault) LaCau, age 82, of Brockton, formerly of Revere, passed peacefully at her home, with her children at her side, March 3, 2015. She was the wife of the late Andrew D. Arsenault and the late Donald J. LaCau. Marion is lovingly survived by her children Andrew M. Arsenault and Diane M. Bernard and her husband Robert and her three grandchildren, Sasha Patricelli, Andrew “Drew” Arsenault and Angelica Grace Bernard.
Marion was born in Boston and raised in Revere, daughter of the late Michael and Angelina (Fronduto) Petrilli and cherished sister of the late Nellie, Chick, Tony, Freddie, Johnnie, Billy, Grace and Al. She also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews. She was a 1950 graduate of Revere High School. Marion retired after many years at Sears, and had previously been employed by John Hancock Insurance and as a Car Hop at Howard Johnsons. The greatest joys in her life were her family, faith and friends. She was a longtime communicant of Christ the King Parish, and was a Lector and member of its Bereavement Group. She was also a member of the Daughters of Isabella, Connected Catholics, 21st Century Group, Red Hattitudes, the Mad Hatters and was an Election Commission Warden.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Monday 4-8pm. The funeral procession will gather at the funeral home Tuesday at 9am for a funeral Mass in Christ the King Parish at 10am. Burial will follow in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody.
