Milu (Neto) Guilherme, 55, of New Bedford died Thursday March 5, 2015 unexpectedly at St. Luke's Hospital. She was the wife of Hernani Guilherme.
Born in St. Michael, Azores, the daughter of Eugenio Neto of Florida and the late Maria Angelina (Frias) Neto, she had resided in New Bedford for the past 40 years.
Milu was formerly employed at Calvin Clothing and Titleist.
She is survived by her husband; her father; three daughters, Jennifer Tavares and her husband Marcio of Fall River, Jessica Soares and her husband Ricardo and Joycelyn Guilherme, all of New Bedford; her siblings, Ana Frias and her husband Eduardo, Manuela Smythe and her husband Robert, and Manuel Neto and his wife Sunnye, all of Florida, and Michael Neto and his wife Zoila of North Carolina; two grandchildren, Mateus and Darius; and several nieces and nephews.
Her Memorial Service will be held on Saturday March 14, 2015 at 1 PM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Visitation will be Saturday from 11AM - 1 PM prior to the service.
