Iris C. Webb, 86, went home to her Lord, Thursday March 5, 2015 at Autumn Woods Healthcare Center.
She was born in Butler County, KY. To Edgar Warren & Grace (Sublett) Cook.
Iris was a retired telephone operator for A.T. & T., with 25 years service.
She was a faithful member of Ormsby Heights Baptist Church and a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.
She was preceded in death by her loving Husband of 59 years, Spencer E. Webb Sr. and her Parents.
Survivors include her children: Sharon Mattingly (Byron), Dian W. Steele (Anthony) and Spencer E. Webb Jr.
4 Grandchildren: Anthony “Gabe” Steele Jr., Sarah M. Breeden (David), Spencer W. Webb and Elisabeth A. Payne (Tyler); and 6 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. Entombment will be in Evergreen Mausoleum.
Visitation will be Sunday 2:00 – 8:00 PM
