In Raynham, March 4, 2015 Samuel D. Terio, Age 90, passed away in his home peacefully. Samuel is survived by his loving wife Mary Ellen (Maxwell) Terio. He was born in Readville, the son of the late Donato & Assunta (Acconcia) Terio. Samuel attended Boston schools. He has resided in Raynham since 2001 and was formerly of Reedville, MA. Samuel served his country during WWII in the U.S. Navy. He was employed as an expeditor for the Westinghouse Co. in Boston. Samuel was a member of the International Brotherhood of Machinist. He enjoyed sports, politics, loved Italian food and above all his time with his grandchildren. Samuel is survived by his children David Terio of Carver, Kevin Terio of Raynham and Daniel Terio of Pawtucket. He also leaves his grandchildren Cameron, Brittney, Courtney, Jessica, Victoria and Ryan Terio. Samuel also leaves his siblings Eva Hagar of Wayland, Joseph Terio of Wrentham and his late sister, Sister Joseph Clare. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Tuesday, March 10th at 10 am. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family Church in East Taunton at 11 am. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Monday from 5-7 pm. Burial will be at the Bourne Veterans Cemetery in Bourne, MA at 1:15 pm.
