Robert J. Knight, age 51, of Leominster formerly of Wilmington passed away unexpectedly of natural cause at his home on March 3, 2015. Born in Winchester, he was the son of the late Geraldine A. (Greene) and Lawrence H. Knight Jr.
Robert was a resident of Leominster for the past eleven years. He was raised and educated in Wilmington where he attended Wilmington High School. He worked for the FLIR Corp. of Billerica as an electronics technician for eleven years. In his leisure time he enjoyed fishing, working with his hands, yard sales, collecting antiques and coin collecting.
He is survived by his siblings; Larry Knight and his wife Jackie of Ashby, Karen Rendon and her husband Fred of Virginia, Donna Knight and Lori Rankin both of Leominster. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted in the Dello Russo Funeral Home 374 Main St., Wilmington, Saturday, March 7th, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and visit with the family prior to the service from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Services will conclude with burial at Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington.
