Dana Ashmore, 54, of Worcester, passed away Monday, March 2, 2015, after an illness. He leaves his wife of 25 years, Diane Ashmore; three sons, Curtis, Raheem, and Dana Jr. and two daughters, Alisha and Latura. He also leaves seven brothers, Ronnie, Steven, Sonnie, Glenn, Paul, Eddie, and Nathan; four sisters, Eleanor, Stella, Priscilla, and Nina; 22 grandchildren, who were his pride and joy, and many nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.
He was born in Boston, son of the late Stella Ashmore and Edward Andrews and was a graduate of Brighton High School. Before his illness, Dana worked as a plumber throughout the city and as a machinist for many years at Jefferson Rubbers. He was a member of Adams Square Baptist Church. Dana enjoyed playing basketball and spending time with his grandchildren.

Services will be held at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street on Saturday, March 7, 2015. A calling hour will be held at 10:00 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Please omit flowers.
