In Taunton, March 1, 2015 Donald J. Furtado son of Edith (Donnelly) Furtado and the late Charles Furtado died suddenly in his home at the age of 52. Born in Taunton, Donald was a graduate of Taunton High School class of 1980 and after high school he enlisted into the US Navy serving from 1980-1984. Donald was a computer consultant from many different companies. He was an outdoors man; he loved to spend time with his family and with his beagles. He was the father of Kristina (Furtado) Radford of Tustin, CA. Brother of Diane Sylvia and her husband Dennis of Scottsdale AZ, Donna Doherty and her husband John of Berkley, David Furtado and Mark Curtis of Boston, Daniel Furtado and his wife Jeannette of Berkley, Dennis Furtado and his wife Martha of Taunton, Douglas Furtado and his wife Beth of Taunton, Dorothy Roberts of Berkley, Debra March and her husband Robert of East Taunton, Dean Furtado of Taunton and Denise Furtado of Taunton. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. A Mass will be held at St Andrew the Apostle Church in Taunton on Saturday, March 21st at 11 AM. A private interment will be held at the Bourne National Cemetery.
