Mildred Agnes (Conley) Kelly, 90 years, died peacefully surrounded by her family in the Life Care Center in West Bridgewater on March 2, 2015. She was a lifelong resident of Brockton prior to her time in West Bridgewater. Mildred was the daughter of the late Owen Joseph and Mary Elizabeth (Leary) Conley. She was a 1942 graduate of Brockton High School and went on to work for the C.S. Pierce Company till 1950. She married her late husband George Francis Kelly in 1949 and has been a devoted wife, mother and grandmother for nearly 66 years.
Mildred loved time spent with her family especially her children and grandchildren. She appreciated simple pleasures; time at Duxbury beach, vacations on the Cape, walks with her husband, a good meal out and participating in the activities at Life Care. She was a quiet devout Catholic who loved her faith and had been a longtime parishioner of both St. Margaret’s and St. Patrick’s Churches.
Mildred is survived by her 4 children; George F. Jr. and his wife Linda Kelly, Jay P. and his wife Elaine Kelly all of Bridgewater, Mary Ann and her husband Kris D’Andrea of Norton and Rita T. and her husband James Pastore of North Attleboro, her 9 grandchildren; Jonathan G., Angela E., Colleen M. and Lauren F. Kelly, Paul M. Anderson, Sarah K. D’Andrea and Meagan E. Emily K. and Michael J. Pastore, her sister; Mary D’Amarino of Brockton and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Kenneth J., Clement L., Philip A., and Owen J. Conley, Anna Mack, Helen M. Hallinan and Rita R. Kelleher.
Visiting hours in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Friday 5-8pm. A procession will form at the funeral home Saturday at 9am for a funeral mass in St. Patrick’s Church, 335 Main St., Brockton at 10am. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
