Obituary

WORCESTER – Amos J. Theriault, 83, of Marconi Road died Wednesday, January 12 in his sons home in West Boylston after an illness.

His wife Doris A. (Allain) Theriault died in 1991. He leaves a son Wayne A. Theriault of West Boylston; two sisters Theresa Lauger of Carrabassett Valley, ME and Rita Lawrence of Minnesota; several nieces and nephews. He was born in Rumford, Maine son of George and Emma Theriault.

Mr. Theriault was a veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II.

He was a member of the West Boylston American Legion Post and the V.F.W. Post in Belfast, Maine. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a tool and die maker retiring in 1986.

Family and friends are invited to attend Mr. Theriault’s funeral service on Friday, January 14 at 11 AM in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home (www.Royfuneral.com) 12 Hammond Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice, 120 Thomas Street, Worcester, MA 01608.
