Frances Pecorella, 84 of Medford, died Wednesday after a brief illness in the Glen Ridge Nursing Care.
Born in Boston, she lived there until moving to Medford in 1950 and was the daughter of the late Leonarda (Santangelo) and Salvatore Giaimo. Frances was a Bookkeeper, at Star Market in Winter Hill Somerville for 25 years and retired in 1980.
Devoted mother of Frank Pecorella of Winthrop, Lorraine Bacos of Lowell, and Corinne Sgro of Needham. Loving grandmother of Dimitri, Gregory, Matthew, Andrew, Alexander and Daria. Sister of Florence Saviano, Ignazio Giaimo, Joanne Abdella, Marie Lacey, Vini Levin, Elena Zero, Lillian Gagliardi and the late John and Frank Giaimo.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Friday at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Thursday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
