Richard E. Matteuzzi, 44, of Beaver Lake Rd., Derry, died April 4, 2002 at the Exeter Hospital in Exeter. He was born in Derry on April 22, 1957, a son of Shirley (Dingle) Matteuzzi and the late Eugene Matteuzzi, and was a lifelong resident. Mr. Matteuzzi was employed as a bus driver for Coach Co. in Plaistow for the past two years. He formerly operated the Matteuzzi Farm in Derry for many years. One of his favorite hobbies was horticulture.
He is survived by his mother, Shirley Matteuzzi of Derry, one brother, John Matteuzzi of Manchester, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
There are no calling hours. A memorial service will be held at a later date. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is handling the arrangements.
