Florence C. (Mallett) McGurn 89, of 147 Delawanda Dr. died Sunday, Jan. 9, in the Jewish Healthcare Center.
Her husband, Walter E. McGurn died in 1992. She leaves four sons, Thomas P. McGurn, Walter E. McGurn Jr., Kevin J. McGurn, and Stephen M. McGurn all of Worcester; five daughters, Joan M. Genese, Patricia M. Baril, Kathryn R. Frykberg, Maureen S. Slevin all of Worcester and Darlene T. Delmore of Rancho Marieta, CA; a brother, Edward Mallett of Worcester; a sister, Laura Andreoli of Millbury; 21 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. A son, Francis W. McGurn of Auburn, predeceased her.
She was born in Worcester, daughter, Albert and Catherine (Rubanacci) Mallett. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church.
A funeral will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 12, from FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 9 Hammond St. with a Mass at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main St. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. Calling Hours are Tuesday, Jan. 11, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hospice Residence at 10 Judith Rd., Worcester, MA 01602.
