Gilmanton-----Alice Bernice (Nicholas) Ferriman, 93, of Loon Pond Road died on Sunday February 22, 2015 at home. She was the widow of James W. Ferriman who died in 2012.
Alice was born on August 2, 1921 in Kankakee, Illinois, the daughter of Leslie C. and Alice G. (Jenkins) Nicholas. Alice resided in Wayne, PA for many years before moving to Gilmanton fifteen years ago.
Alice enjoyed golfing, fishing and sewing but most of all she loved taking care of her grandchildren and spending time with family.
Alice is survived by a son; James R. Ferriman, of Sheridan, WY; two daughters, Leslie F. Stott, of Pottstown, PA and Joan E. Tasse, of Gilmanton, 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her siblings: Leslie C. Nicholas, George T. Nicholas and Dorothy L. Nicholas.
There will be no calling hours or services.
Burial will be at later date in the New Hampshire Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH.
