Chu Thi Tran, 82, of Worcester died Sunday, March 1st in Brigham and Women's Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband, Xa Truong. She leaves three sons, Quoc Truong, Qua Truong and Chung Truong; three daughters, Van Truong, Nga Truong and Huong Tran; a brother, Khoan Tran; 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren all of Worcester. She was predeceased by a sister, Chu Tran.
Chu was born in Vietnam and came to the United States in 1980. She was a dedicated Buddhist believer.
Prayers will be held from 5:00 until 6:00 PM with visitation be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, March 4th and Thursday, March 5th O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. A service will begin at 9:00 AM on Friday, March 6th in the funeral home followed by cremation at All Faith's Crematory, 7 Island Road, Worcester.
