Obituary

Donall Otte Eno died in his Londonderry New Hampshire home on Feb. 26, 2015 at the age of 81 after a courageous four year battle with cancer. He was born on October 17, 1933 and was the son of Fern and Ronald Eno.
He was born in Colorado, spent his mid youth, teens and early college years in Indiana and California. In 1954 he enlisted in the Air force and was stationed in northern Maine. There he met his bride and sweetheart Jeannine Dufour. He became an Air Traffic Controller while in the service and continued until retirement in 1988.
Upon retirement, Don and Jeannine became snowbirds and settled in the Breckenridge golf community in Estero, Florida. He enjoyed the camaraderie of the morning golf league telling spontaneous and ageless jokes. He had the uncanny ability to tell you a joke based on any given subject. His sense of humor brought smiles and laughter to many – especially his wife who would repeatedly gut laugh at his gestures and antics- even after 60 years. This would produce his signature wry smile.
Besides having a fun sense of humor, Don was a fighter and loved a challenge or bet - evidenced not only by his cancer battle but also how he approached his life, work, education and passions. He loved to challenge his children in golf, catch the biggest fish or win a dollar in a sports bet. He was an independent thinker, artistic and fair minded soul. His most unselfish act of love was caring for his wife during his cancer battle. He had class and will be remembered for his strength, determination and big heart.
Don leaves behind his love - wife Jeannine Eno; brother Ronald Eno of Derry NH; six children, sons: Chris Eno and partner Sue Carradini of Derry, NH, Mark Eno and wife Christine of Merrimack, NH, David Eno and wife Kim of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Tim Eno of Merrimack, NH, Todd Eno and wife Susan of Brunswick, ME, daughter Kim Ryan and husband Michael of Londonderry ,NH. His many grandchildren and few great grandchildren provided him years of pride and joy.
A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday March 5, 2015 at 10.30 at St Marks Church, South Rd, Londonderry, NH. A life celebration will immediately follow at Brookstone Country Club, 14 Route 111, Derry, NH.
Don was thankful for the special care he received from doctors and staff at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Londonderry, NH, as well as the caregivers at Hospice.
