Edward James "Buzzy" Higgins, III, 64, of Methuen, Massachusetts passed away on Friday, February 27th, 2015 at his home.
He was born on September 12, 1950 in Lawrence, Massachusetts, son of Mary Ann (Uzko) Higgins and the late Edward J. Higgins, Jr.. Buzzy was a graduate of Tenney High School in Methuen and later attended Amherst College. He worked for Foss Companies for several years.
Buzzy was an avid collector of baseball caps, he especially enjoyed collecting sports memorabilia and his favorite collection as of late was the Patriots.
The son of the late Edward James Higgins, Jr.
He is survived by his mother Mary Ann (Uzko) Higgins of Methuen, MA
his aunt and uncle Claire and David Jackson of Littleton, MA and his cousin Lynneanne Moss and her husband David Moss of Methuen, MA, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Buzzy was predeceased by his brother Shane Alan Higgins who passed in 2013.
Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2015 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc,. 122 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, MA. His service will be held on Wednesday, March 4th, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home and his burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence, MA.
