Worcester – Fevro Isildakli, 88, died on Friday, February 27th in Saint Vincent Hospital after an illness.
Mrs. Isildakli is survived by her husband Philip Isildakli of Worcester; a son, Ernie Isildakli and his wife Maria of Worcester; a daughter, Helen Kerbici and her husband George of Webster; a sister, Katina Muhlidis of Worcester; 4 grandchildren, Louis Kerbici, Fay Simmarano, Pauline Jakober and Natalie Isildakli; a great grandchild, Zoe Simmarano and many nephews and nieces.
Fevro was born in Istanbul, Turkey, daughter of the late George and Sophie Hacidimo and is also predeceased by two brothers, Charlie and John as well as a sister, Thekla.
Mrs. Isildakli enjoyed many things, throughout her life. However, some of her favorite things to do were, cooking, traveling, taking trips back to Istanbul and most importantly spending time with her family.
A funeral service will be held at 11am in Saint Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral 102 Russell St. on Monday, March 2nd from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. with burial to follow in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, March 1st from 5 to 7pm in the funeral home with a Trisagion Service at 5:15.
