Beloved mother of Omer Morency and his wife Judith of Everett, Donald Morency and his wife Frances of Chelsea and Russell Morency and his wife Constance of Wakefield. Daughter of the late Alfred and Hermine Noel. Dear sister of Chanel Noel of Lawrence. Cherished grandmother of Paul, Steven, David, Michelle, Michael, Mark and Amy and loving great grandmother of Stephanie, Danielle, Connor, Kevin and Olivia. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Michael the Archangel Chapel, on the Campus of the Chelsea Soldiers Home, 91 Crest Avenue, Chelsea on Thursday morning, January 13th at 11 o'clock. Visiting Hours will be held in the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, Chelsea on Wednesday from 4-8 and on Thursday morning in the Cardinal Cushing Pavilion of St. Michael's Chapel beginning at 10 AM. Services will conclude with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Born in Lawrence in 1913 and a member of Sacred Heart Parish as a child and young woman, Germaine, age 91, passed away Saturday afternoon at the Hospice House of the VNA in Reading.
Upon her marriage to her beloved Joseph, she took residence in Chelsea, where she has resided ever since.
For numerous years, she was employed by many shoe companies, among them Walton Shoe, retiring a number of years ago from Marston Corporation A long time member of Our Lady of the Assumption Church, she was also a member of the Ladies of St. Anne.
