Lillian (Welsh) Messina age 59 of Salem, NH, formerly of Methuen, MA, died Friday at her home in Salem, NH, after a courageous battle with a rare from of breast cancer.
She was born in Littleton, NH, grew up and attended schools in Lincoln, NH and graduated from the Linwood School. She received her LPN License from Tewksbury Hospital in Tewksbury, MA. She later received her Associates Degree from Middlesex College as a Registered Nurse, and then received her BSN at Salem State College. She was also Board Certified in Geriatric Care. She was a resident of Salem, NH for the past 3 years, formerly of Methuen, MA.
Mrs. Messina was a Registered Nurse and Floor Nurse Manager for Tewksbury Hospital in Tewksbury, MA, where she had been working for the past 27 years,

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 11, 2005 at 10:30 AM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH.
Calling hours will be held Monday, January 10, 2005 from 3-5 & 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
