Margaret H. Mitchell, 90, of Ocilla, Georgia, died Wednesday, January 5, 2005 at the Life Care Center in Fitzgerald.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
Mrs. Mitchell was born December 9, 1914, in Ocilla, Georgia, to the late Carl B. and Hattie Johnson Hodnett. She grew up in Ocilla and moved back in 1977 from West Palm Beach, Florida, where she worked as a sales clerk and she was also a former resident of Ocala, Florida. Mrs. Mitchell was of the Methodist faith.
Mrs. Mitchell is survived by her husband: Clifford Mitchell, Ocilla; nephews: John W. Hodnett, Scotland Neck, NC, Pat Hodnett, Ocilla and Carl Hodnett, Griffin, GA; one brother: Henry Paul Hodnett, Macon, GA. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jake Williams.
