North Augusta, SC – Entered into rest Wednesday, February 25, 2015, Mrs. Patricia Roland Wylds, 71, wife to Mr.George Landrum Wylds, Jr.
Mrs. Wylds was born in Alexandria, VA to Lacey Roland and Mary Viola Garten. She lived most of her life in Augusta, GA. Mrs. Wylds was a loving wife, devoted mother and grandmother. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church of Augusta where she taught Sunday school and was a faithful and dedicated Christian.
Her family members, in addition to her husband, include her daughters; Stephanie Wylds of North Augusta, SC, Viki Tyree of Grovetown, GA, Landra Wylds of Grovetown, GA, Faith Hampshire (Matt) of Chesnee, SC and Mary Bethany Stottlemyre (Tom) of Excelsior Springs, MO: sons; George “Landy” Wylds, III (Jena) of Kalispell, MT and Paul Wylds (Mandy) of Blythe, GA: and her brother; Walter Saffell of Manteo, NC; and 19 grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Monday, March 2, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at Providence Baptist Church with Dr. Don Prosser officiating. Interment will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
