Richard A. “Dicky” Tellier, 72, of East Street, died on Thursday, February 26, at home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Evelyn (Ferreira) Tellier. Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Felix and Georgianna (Bruley) Tellier.
Richard, “Mr. T.” had worked at the former ACS Industries and the Dyer Saville Dye House, retiring in 1992. He had also worked as a part-time house painter with his brother. He was an avid sports fan who especially enjoyed wrestling. He enjoyed his dogs and working in his garden. His favorite pastime was time with his family.
Richard was the father of Richard T. Tellier, Georgette Guy, Judith Berthelette and Debbie Cote, the brother of Robert Tellier and his wife Laura, Phyllis Cazeault and her husband Leo, all of Woonsocket and Frances Brunelle and her husband Raymond of Florida. He had five grandchildren, Rebecca Tellier, Sabrina Archambault, Bryan Guy, Jamie Berthelette and Travis Cote, six great-grandchildren, Xavier, Monique, Bryan, Olivia, Nico and Liam and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place in the Fournier and Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St, Woonsocket on Sunday, March 1st from 2-4PM. Burial will be private.
