Obituary

Edward Kagan, 91, of Warren Avenue, Johnston, a machinist at Quonset Point Naval Air Station before retiring, died Wednesday, February 25, 2015. He was the husband of the late Shirley (Wilson) Kagan.

Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late John and Julia Kagan, he had lived in Johnston since 1981 and had previously lived in Providence.

He served in the Navy during WWII. He was an avid bowler and a drum and bugle corps parent.

He is survived by his children: Sharon Woodhead and her husband,Graeme of Cumberland and Brian Kagan of Johnston. He was predeceased by his four siblings.

A Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11:30 am in the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial will follow in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston. Visitation will be Monday 4-7pm. In lieu of flowers donations to Cortland Place Activities Fund, 20 Austin Avenue, Greenville, RI 02828
