Oliver, Goebel E. 89 of Jeffersontown passed away Monday February 23, 2015 at The Good Samaritan Society.
Born in Winchester, KY he was retired from the United States Post Office, a member of Southeast Christian Church
and was a United States Marine Veteran serving in World War 2.
Preceded in death by his brothers Fred and Ralph Oliver.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, the former Nancy Ballard; Daughters Rita Vick (Paul), and Linda Beard (Mike);
Grandchildren Kim, Matt and Scott; Seven Great Grandchildren and One Great Great Grandson.
His Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Thursday February 26, 2015 at Owen Funeral Home-Jeffersontown 9318 Taylorsville Rd.;
Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-7 pm at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date at Winchester Cemetery(KY).
In Lieu of Flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
