Obituary

Richard P. Arpin, 60, of Candia, NH died February 21, 2015 suddenly at his residence.

He was born on February 15, 1955 in Lowell, MA to William and Blanche (Soucy) Arpin.

Dick grew up in Lowell and graduated from Lowell High School in 1973. He worked for a few years as a youth counselor before moving to Manchester.

He moved to Manchester in 1982 and worked many various jobs until starting the Dick Arpin Furniture Restorations Company in 1983.

He loved hockey and played in high school. He later coached the NH Jr. Wildcats, the Jr. Canadians and the Exeter Freeze of the I.J.H.L.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was an avid softball player and was always ready to tell some funny stories.

Family members include his beloved wife of 29 years Suzanne (Libby) Arpin of Candia; a stepson, Wade Yianakopolos and his wife Michele of Manchester; a granddaughter, Ashley; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters in-law and brothers in-law. He was predeceased by his step-mother Pauline Grandchamps and a brother, Gerard “Todd” Arpin.

A memorial service was held on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm Street, Manchester. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to the American Heart Association, 2 Wall Street, Suite 104, Manchester, NH 03101.
